“...and you will know the truth, and the truth will make you free.”
John 8:32
Daily Devotional
Another way we worship God is by declaring truth—about who He is, His character, and who He says we are. Declarations align our hearts and minds with what Scripture says is true, even when our feelings suggest otherwise. As we speak truth, our minds are renewed and our focus is reoriented to what is good and true (Philippians 4:8).
Scriptures for Today
As you read today's Scriptures, read slowly and attentively, allowing the Holy Spirit to speak to you as you meditate on His Word.
Isaiah 6:1-4
In the year that King Uzziah died, I saw the Lord, high and exalted, seated on a throne; and the train of his robe filled the temple. Above him were seraphim, each with six wings: With two wings they covered their faces, with two they covered their feet, and with two they were flying. And they were calling to one another: “Holy, holy, holy is the Lord Almighty; the whole earth is full of his glory.”At the sound of their voices the doorposts and thresholds shook and the temple was filled with smoke.
2 Chronicles 5:13-14
The trumpeters and musicians joined in unison to give praise and thanks to the Lord. Accompanied by trumpets, cymbals and other instruments, the singers raised their voices in praise to the Lord and sang:
“He is good; his love endures forever.”
Then the temple of the Lord was filled with the cloud, and the priests could not perform their service because of the cloud, for the glory of the Lord filled the temple of God.
Worship

Prayer
Today, write out two or three declarations rooted in Scripture that proclaim who God is and who He says you are. Then pray them out loud, agreeing with the Word of God and allowing these truths to renew your mind.
Example:
God, You are good (Psalm 107:1).
God, I am a new creation (2 Corinthians 5:17).
Listen & Obey
Spend two minutes in silent, listening prayer. Write down what you sense the Holy Spirit speaking to you. Here are some prompts to assist you:
- Lord, what do You want to speak to me from these passages of Scripture as I start my day?
- How do You want me to apply this truth today?
- Who do I need to share this with today?
